Villa Brambilla

It is a pretty building with the architectonical characterĂstics of the chalet.

This house formerly belonged to the Trottis, then it was acquired by the Milanese industrialist Angelo Brambilla in 1898. His daughter, "donna" Ernesta, had married Count Gian Giuseppe Durini, senator of the Kingdom of ltaly.

She. too, was at the back of great enterprises as President of the Red Cross and of the Naval League, and she took part in the "expedition to South Africa" in 1930-31.

Her daughter, "donna" Carlangela Durini of Monza, Air Generai Aimone Cat' s widow, supported by her children, maintains this delightful mansion with the same, sober elegance of the past good times.
