COMO CITY CENTER
Como, hidden by its lake, remains unseen in the cavity enclosed between Mount Brunate and Baradello Hill, only marked by the tower that rises with its stern proclamation of a fierce defense. A city of noble native origins, with a repeated and renewed Roman foundation, it is the northernmost among the most important Roman cities beyond the Po River, an extreme outpost of Mediterranean civilization at the mountainous threshold of another Europe.
