It is a fine building erected by the Cornaggia Medici family in a wonderful position on a rock vertically on Lake Como between the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of this century.
On account of a popular tradition it is also called "cà di mort" ("house of the dead") because of a small ossuary inserted in the massive wall on the lake at the time of the plague.
The Musas have been living here for years and they maintain this villa with the sober elegance which marks this well-known and worthy Comense family.
